Dr. Annie Hu-Duval completed her undergraduate education in 1997 at UC Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Cell Biology. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2002.

Dr. Hu -Duval completed a year of postgraduate (fellowship) training, with an emphasis on Contact Lenses, at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA. She joined Village Eyes Optometry, as an independent practitioner, in 2004.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the Los Angeles County Optometric Association.
